Ferendum is a web site that provides a free of charge service consisting in an online voting/polling system.

By using www.ferendum.com you agree on the following terms, conditions and privacy policy.

Hereafter "you" means the user and "we" means the Ferendum.com. A user is any person, browsing the pages, using the system, creating a new poll, voting, commenting or adding any content.


The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of condition, uninterrupted use or fitness for a particular purpose.

User responsibility

The user is responsible for the content he/she adds to Ferendum. Ferendum shall not be be held responsible for the content added by the users.

Forbidden content

You cannot add in the title, description, options, comments or anywhere else the following types of contents and you cannot link to pages that offer these type of contents:

We reserve our right to delete or edit the content or entire pages that do not respect this policy in a manual or automatic way without previous notice.

Collected Personal Data and its use

In case you provide us your name we will store it in our database. You are allowed to give us your real complete name, partial name (e.g. only first name), a nick name or fake name.

Ferendum also ask for e-mail address when creating a new poll. You are free to provide it or not. In case you provide us your e-mail we will use it to send you an automatic e-mail informing about the links to your poll and will store it in our database. You might receive other e-mails from us like for example an email reminding the links of your polls.

In case you use any third party account (Facebook, Twitter, Google or Linkedin) to connect to our system you will be asked to give us permissions to access some personal data. After you grant the access we might collect and store in our database your user name, e-mail, URL address to your public picture profile, URL to your social media profile and possibly some other data available to us. The data that is made available to us is specified at login time by the third party provider who asks for your permission to communicate that data.

Ferendum also collects IP address which is needed for technical reasons for our system to work.

All collected personal data is used to provide the service.

Non-disclosure of personal data

We do not disclose or share any personal data to third parties unless we were obliged by a judge.
